A Success Story
The company F.lli Zamagna was founded in 1963 by the Zamagna brothers, pioneers in Italy in the production of aluminium window frames. They were the first company to use this innovative material on residential projects in the 60s. The following years saw the industrial boom in Italy, and the market became even more demanding; the three entrepreneurs decided to form a partnership, which continues to this day, with the newly established Schüco Italia (1977).
Throughout the 80s and 90s, F.lli Zamagna worked on some of the most important building projects in the hotel industry on the Adriatic coast and in Milan and Bari.
In the late 90’s, the founders passed the company on to their children Davide and Imerio, who created Nuova F.lli Zamagna
In 2005 they built a new headquarters of 2,500 square metres that includes: new technical and commercial offices, the manufacturing plant with two automatic cutting lines, two work centres able to create frames and curtain walls of any size, eight assembly benches with skilled workers, and six teams of installers who work externally at construction sites, enabling the simultaneous management of multiple sites throughout Italy. The long artnership with Schüco (more than 30 years) has enabled us to obtain considerable recognition over the years, and now our engineers have among the best qualifications and skills for the installation of every Schüco product in all of Italy; this has enabled us to acquire important projects in Italy and abroad.

The company’s development in recent years has led us to significant collaborations with companies of the calibre of Focchi and Ponzi, who active in the European market with special, high technology products. In addition, the market demands for various kinds of products has led us to market a range of alternatives to aluminium. We can now provide clients with our latest generation PVC window fixtures, shading systems of all kinds, shelters and structures with light and/or heavy framework, ventilating walls, in addition, of course, to any type of glass required by even the most demanding customers.
Thanks to our strong growth in the last few years, we recently opened a new production location that is set up for large-scale production for important new projects: the plant is currently producing the supply of SCHÜCO special anti-hurricane windows for two large residences in Nassau in the Bahamas.
